Some would argue that an actors resume is even more important than his or her headshot. In this article we will go back over the reasons for creating an acting resume and from there discuss what should and should not go in it and why.

An acting resume is exactly one side of one page, and you will usually want to have it stapled to the back of your head shot. This small amount of space is all you have to represent yourself as a multifaceted potential working actor. So the main thing is to understand what auditioners want from you. Think about the specific show they going to be doing and try to compare it to their previous work. What sorts of actors do they like to use, and who do they usually cast for the role you want? Once you’ve considered what they’re looking for, the only thing to do is to try and give it to them. You’re an actor, so this will come pretty naturally to you.

The main thing to have in mind is that your acting resume should represent the part you want to play more than you as an independent entity. So, you should twist and pull at the facts of your professional life until they fit, as closely as possible, the specific audition. I would never tell you to lie; just take a look at this sample actor’s resume to get a better understanding of what I mean. This is a little bit of an extra investment in terms of time and energy, but it’s not that big an investment. Five or ten minutes for each audition could be the difference between your next big break and your next season of waiting tables.

So exactly what do you want to do with your keywords? Well, for starters, stick them in your “title tag“, “meta tags“, and “header tags” (H1, H2, H3, etc.) Now, if you have absolutely no idea what we just said, fear not. Google is a click away.

Just do a quick search for these terms and/or HTML tutorials and you’ll learn what they are – simple enough. And we suppose this is as good of a place to tell you the disclaimer… You should have some idea how webpages work prior to joining our mastermind program.

We are not saying you need to become HTML-yoda-like… but the basic understandings would help you get the most out of our program.

The key is don’t spam.

Don’t just make every other word on your website your “money keyword”. That’s a quick and sure way to lose rankings on the search engines and never see the light of day.

This spamming the keyword thing may have worked back in the heyday of the search engines, when silly porn sites would rank for ridiculously irrelevant terms like “Walt Disney” by copy and pasting the term “walt disney” over and over again on their pages.

Well, obviously the search engines wised up and are privy to that underhanded strategy… And their response now is capitol punishment. Well, not quite but close enough right.

On-page SEO essentially has to do with how you shape and organize the content and pages of your website. It has to do with the specific words you use, the way you link to and from your pages, how you structure your different pages, etc.

And all of this will be based around the “money keywords” you are trying to rank for. Because like we discussed previously… you wouldn’t want to waste your precious time on silly keywords that won’t increase your bottom line (more traffic, more leads, and more sales), right?

And the better your on-page optimization is, the fewer OFF-page optimization (i.e. getting backlinks) you need to do in order to achieve high rankings for your money keywords.

And the best part is… you have absolute full control over this aspect of SEO – so take full advantage!

It’s Like Writing a New York Times Bestseller…

Going beyond just having your money keywords spread out through your website, you also want to pay close attention to the organization of your website.

Think of your website like a #1 NY Times Bestseller. What happens when you open a #1 NY Times bestseller and go over to the table of contents? Most likely you are going to see chapters after chapters of tightly-knit and related topics. Collectively they bring about the main topic/subject of the book.

For example, let’s say the #1 NY best seller was on “MLM prospecting“. Well, we’d imagine some of the chapters within the book be about “MLM advertising“, “MLM lead generation“, “traditional prospecting methods“, etc. right?

Your website is really no different.

Your website’s categories and how they are organized should be based on your money keywords. This way, the search engines can instantly recognize your website’s theme and give it high rankings in that specific market.

And once that happens… you’ll get higher ranks for your money keywords AND other relevant keywords you didn’t even intentionally rank for (ahhh, the power of SEO – getting results you weren’t even trying to get!) Your categories themselves will also get ranked. The bottom line is, you will get more traffic and more leads.

Before you buy your hermit crab, you need to obtain the necessary equipment and supplies. They will need an aquarium and not those tiny cages you see at the shops by the shore — hermit crabs should have at least a ten-gallon aquarium to move around in. If you are getting more than one crab, you should get a larger aquarium. A pet shop will suggest the best size for the number of crabs you will be keeping. Make sure the aquarium has a tight lid so your crabs don’t escape! Use an appropriate size heater so the tank will maintain the correct temperature.

You will need a substrate for the tank, as well. Three to four inches of sand will be optimal, but you can also use crushed shells or other materials. If you use something other than sand, it is still a good idea to cover a portion of the bottom with sand, so the crabs will have somewhere comfortable to go for molting.

For feeding your hermit crab, you will need to get some commercial hermit crab food. You can also feed small pieces fish occasionally. Also, your crab should have some crushed eggshells or oyster shells to support their calcium levels. It is important to keep their small bones strong and healthy.

Kung fu is loosely translated as “sustained effort or skill.” It is made up of hundreds of unique styles including northern and southern styles and tai chi. Within all the various styles, there are similar traits that run through all of them and brand them as a style of kung fu. Many brides and grooms planning Prescott weddings are happy to include children both as members of the wedding party and as guests.

Having children at a wedding, however, poses a myriad of problems. Do you leave the children to their own devices and hope they behave and don’t get in the way? Do you provide a room with childcare so they are “present” but not too much under foot? Perhaps the best solution is a simple mix of both, with a smattering of fun built in.

First of all, if children are invited to the wedding, take into consideration the ages of the children. Babies will have to stay with mom and/or dad, for a variety of reasons. So planning to have all the children in another room might not be feasible. But if the children are toddlers up to about age 12, you can provide a separate room for them with childcare and a make a number of activities available to them.

If the children will be in a separate room at the reception, you can provide a coloring table, perhaps a TV with an appropriate movie ready to roll, and some board games. That could probably be enough for the duration of the wedding reception. Be aware of a few things: there should be a ratio of at least 1 adult for every 5 children if the children are toddlers, or 1 adult to every 10 children if the kids are older. Don’t expect the kids to take up the activities on their own, but rather tell the childcare provider to get the kids involved in the activities by doing them him or herself.

What if the children will be part of the reception festivities? What activities can be geared specifically to children at the reception? There are plenty of things you can do, really. You can certainly plan a coloring table at the back of the reception hall or room. There, you can provide loads of paper, coloring books, markers and crayons. Paints are not recommended, for obvious reasons, and moms will thank you if you remember to supply the kids with washable markers and crayons only.

The art table can be more than just coloring, however. Buy a huge bag of pipe cleaners. Kids can amuse themselves for long periods of time, making animals, odd figures and the like. Make sure you have at least 20 or more pipe cleaners for each child, however, as children can go through these quickly. Think about “clean” clay, the new products that don’t stick to anything and don’t leave a trace on furniture. With a few different colors, kids can create a variety of figures, faces or forms.

More formal Prescott wedding planning can also be made for the small guests. There are several options if this is the route you want to take. One popular option is to have paid entertainment on hand at the wedding just for the children. This can take place in a separate room or toward the back of the reception room or hall if it’s large and the guest list is big. You can hire a clown or a balloon artist.
