Organize Your Closet for 2010
Hello!
With winter upon us, it’s time to pull out nice, warm clothes to keep us cozy. With that in mind, I thought I would share a few simple tips to help you clean out your clothes closet and organize your clothes so you can find what you need quickly.
If you are one of those that piles your clothes up in a corner or your clothes never quite get put away you may want to read this. Organizing your clothes is not only an easy process, but will surprise you with the peace of mind you will get by just organizing this one part of your life.
• Be honest about what you will really wear. Part with clothing that doesn’t fit, doesn’t look good or you just plain don’t like anymore-it’s ok, let it go! Keeping all those clothes isn’t going to help your home organization goals…
• Remove any items that need repairs or dry cleaning and get them taken care of as soon as possible. Take them right on out to the car.
• Part with clothes that are ripped, torn or stained. Even if they are comfortable, you can wear something else that is more flattering and yet still comfy!
• Place the same type of clothing together in your closet: short sleeve with short sleeve, jeans with jeans, dresses with dresses, etc. This will make it easy to put an outfit together in the morning without digging!
